Title: Forest floor %C and %N at 23 soil moisture monitoring sites in the Southern Appalachians of western North Carolina
Abstract: Forest floor was collected at 17 sites in the Coweeta basin, three sites in the Beetree watershed, and three sites in Bent Creek Experimental Forest. Samples were dried and weighed. The sites comprise a network of sensor stations that monitor soil moisture, soil temperature, and air temperature in the Southern Appalachians of western North Carolina. Samples were analyzed for % carbon and % nitrogen.
